Another Sunday Feeling

This morning’s prayer started off light—just me thanking God for the rhythm of my day, the quiet pool, the beauty of the sun and clouds. But somewhere in the middle, my prayer turned into a reflection. And I know that’s what growth looks like: realizing that prayer and reflection are two sides of the same coin.

What I noticed is this: when your perspective finally shifts—after years of holding onto one way of seeing the world, one way of surviving—it changes everything. At first, God’s perspective shows up like a suggestion, a whisper in the background. It might be mid-argument with someone you love when a word floats in your spirit and reminds you: you could choose forgiveness right now. Sometimes you listen. Sometimes you don’t.

But as you mature, the whisper gets louder. It stops being just about asking God to clean you up. It becomes about learning how to stay clean. To create routines and rituals that keep you centered on His ways, not swayed by every trend or shifting value society pushes.

And as you keep choosing, you realize faith doesn’t always need the constant “feeling” you once craved. You know God is there—so when you don’t see Him in the natural, you look back in His Word, and you wait in His presence. That’s how you grow.

The truth is: change is hard. But each step, each small choice, deserves recognition. Even if it feels like you’re writing the same story over and over in your journal, it’s not repetition—it’s a chronicle of transformation.

And I guess that’s why I share these prayers-turned-reflections here. They’re not perfect. But they’re proof. Proof that growth is possible, even in small increments, even when it doesn’t feel obvious in the moment.

Until next time—stay grounded, and keep blooming. Our growth is sacred—and who says we can’t express it in the luxury language of love?
